Dr John Tai
Dr John Tai graduated from Melbourne University and then worked at The Austin Hospital and The Northern Hospital for some years. John completed his specialist training in General Practice in 2015 and has continued to enthusiastically develop further skills. He has done further training in skin cancer identification and treatment, practices travel medicine, is certified to insert Implanon (the contraceptive implant or 'rod'), and is also an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He is also interested in general family medicine, and children's health.
Dr John Tai is excited to offer multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis to measure body composition and uses this technology as part of his medical weight loss program. Outside of medicine, Dr John Tai is a father who tries to keep up with some BodyPump, running, tennis, and learning about technology. He has recently taken on a garden and is open to tips about how to keep a small vegetable patch thriving.
