Dr Penny Bennett

Penny graduated from Monash University, and completed her postgraduate training at Queen Victoria Medical Centre, Box Hill Hospital and with the Family Medicine Programme. She has done further training in paediatrics and holds a diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Penny has worked at Surrey Hills Medical Centre since 1987. Whilst she enjoys all aspects of general practice, Penny has a particular interest in paediatrics, women’s health, travel medicine and chronic disease management, including asthma.

Penny is also accredited for shared pregnancy care with Box Hill Hospital, Mercy Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre.

Outside of work, Penny is married with four adult children. Her interests include photography and travel, especially to adventure destinations.
